What motivates a given character’s actions? Stan is like a pit bull trying to find out who took his wife and why. He does everything necessary to get answers.

If you were in a problem situation like one in the book, how would you have acted? If I went to a foreign country and my husband disappeared, I would have searched everywhere for them. I would have got my proof from the US. No different from Stan, I guess.

Who was your favorite character? Stan was my favorite. He was so devoted to his wife. He risks everything to try and find her.
