If you were to talk with the author, what would you want to know? I would like to know how she actually came up with the ideas for this book. While some seemed straightforward and simple, the whole new world she created was filled with twists and turns and I would like to know what her inspiration was.

If you could rewrite the ending, would you? I don't think so. While many of us at book club weren't ecstatic about the ending, it was some kind of resolution to the story and if it is going to continue to a second book, the ending is perfect as it is.

Consider the ending. Did you expect it or were you surprised? A little bit. I wasn't certain until the end about who Dakota will leave it. Not going to give all the information away.
